Amavarapu.

I build systems that stay built.

I engineer reliable backend systems, scalable APIs, and polished full-stack products—then strengthen the open-source tools the industry builds on.

01 / PROFILE

Engineering is the work of making complexity behave.

I'm a 2026 Electronics and Communication Engineering graduate who chose software because I enjoy tracing difficult problems to their root and building solutions that hold up under pressure.

My work spans Java and Spring systems, data performance, React interfaces, automated testing, and real contributions merged into established open-source projects.

02 / SELECTED PROJECTS

Built beyond
the happy path.

Projects designed around the details that make software dependable: failures, concurrency, data access, security, and tests.

01

Distributed commerce

Microservices E-Commerce Platform

A production-minded commerce system built around independent services, reliable checkout, and a polished customer experience.

  • 3 Spring Boot microservices with database-per-service architecture, JWT RBAC, API Gateway, and responsive Next.js frontend.
  • Multi-item checkout with idempotency, atomic inventory reservation, service discovery, and fault-tolerant communication.

High-read API design

Social Media Backend API

A tested REST API spanning the complete social graph—from identity and content to personalized feed delivery.

  • 6 core workflows: authentication, posts, likes, comments, follow relationships, and personalized feeds.
  • Removed N+1 query bottlenecks with JPQL Fetch Joins; improved read paths with Redis, pagination, and composite indexes.

Performance & reliability

URL Shortener Service

A compact backend service engineered for fast redirects, predictable identifiers, and controlled API usage.

  • Custom aliases, expiry, redirects, and click analytics with collision-free Base62 keys from PostgreSQL sequences.
  • Fast indexed redirect lookups, application caching, and IP-based fixed-window rate limiting.

03 / OPEN SOURCE

Changes that earned
a maintainer's merge.

Production codebases, real review, regression coverage, and fixes accepted upstream.

01ClickHouse Java

Fixed JDBC parameter counting across SQL parser backends

Corrected empty-comment scanning and added SELECT * EXCEPT grammar support so prepared statements discover later parameter markers instead of failing. Added regression coverage across all three parser backends and validated 2,885 tests.

JavaJDBCANTLR4
PR #3067
02Apple ServiceTalk

Made GC-sensitive processor tests deterministic

Replaced unreliable one-shot GC timing assumptions with bounded ReferenceQueue retries, addressed JIT reachability feedback, and validated the fix across 50/50 stress runs plus a 3,293-test suite.

PR #3613
03Kestra

Restored useful backend validation feedback

Diagnosed a save path where client-side validation hid detailed backend errors, updated the flow-save handling, and added regression coverage for affected paths.

PR #18022
04CommaFeed

Localized authentication failures safely

Mapped application-level 401 errors to localized Lingui messages while preserving unexpected backend errors, with typed handling and unit plus Playwright coverage.

TypeScripti18nPlaywright
PR #2272
05toknt

Added Maven/Surefire test-output parsing

Implemented counts for tests, failures, errors, and skips with failed-test extraction while preserving Jest, Vitest, Pytest, and generic parser behavior.

Let's build something
reliable.

If you're building backend platforms, developer tools, or full-stack products, I'd be glad to talk.
